Dimly lit FORNELLO dining room, empty tables bathed in warm amber light

Wood-Fired Italian · Savannah, GA

Crafted with fire.
Served with purpose.

FORNELLO is a wood-fired Italian kitchen on Bull Street — an open hearth, a short list of ingredients, and the patience to let both do the work.

Our Story

An open hearth, an honest table.

FORNELLO began with a single wood-fired oven and a belief that Italian cooking doesn't need much dressing up — just good heat, good ingredients, and someone who cares about both. Every dish that leaves our kitchen touches the fire at some point along the way.

01

Fine Ingredients

Sourced weekly from Georgia farms and a handful of Italian mills we've bought from since we opened.

02

Seasonal Menus

The hearth decides more than we do — the menu turns with what's ready to be cooked over fire.

03

Timeless Hospitality

Warm, attentive service in a room built to feel like someone's table, not a stage.

04

Memorable Evenings

From a quiet dinner for two to a table of twelve, every service is built around the people at it.
